One way to become a millionaire is to be a plumber. No consumer likes to live with a leaky pipe, and repairing it isn’t something most of us can do ourselves. There’s no shortage of work, either. As a plumbing contractor, you can invest in your business, your future, and yourself. This will have a direct impact on your return. In addition, you can create a substantial income by working hard.

If you don’t want to be a plumber, consider living modestly. Start by reducing one expense each year. If you can, reduce it by 10 percent. Ideally, you’ll be spending around fifty percent of your take home pay on essential living expenses, and only twenty percent on extras. Keep an eye on your income and save any raises. After a while, it will be easier not to spend your money. You’ll find that you don’t need luxuries, and that living below your means is more satisfying than spending it.
